Position Overview:
We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Wellola, you will play a critical role in ensuring the high quality and reliability of our healthcare products. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing exploratory and automated tests, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential issues. Responsibilities:
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to understand project requirements and deliverables.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
- Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues and ensure a positive user experience.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Conduct regression testing to verify that new features do not adversely impact existing functionality.
- Collaborate with developers to isolate, reproduce, and debug issues, providing detailed reports to facilitate efficient issue resolution.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs on Jira / Confluence.
- Work closely with teams to understand user scenarios and contribute to the improvement of user stories.
- Monitor debugging process results and track where necessary.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer in a professional setting.
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
- Ideally, an understanding or exposure to healthcare standards, including FHIR and HL7.
- Skilled in testing APIs and ensuring they function as expected.
- Proficiency in testing web applications built with PHP, ReactTypescript, .net hosted on cloud.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
